Volunteers!
I volunteers! Without your kind donation of time and talent our classroom would be a lesser place. From help with Wednesday folders, to field trips, to class parties, to buddy readers your contributions make a huge difference. I couldn't do it without you! Below are some of the volunteer opportunities that will be open at different times during the year. Let me know you are interested by clicking the links below! I will be sure to put you to work!
Wednesday Folders
This volunteer helps to keep the communication flowing between school and home by filing notes, student work and classroom newletters. Wednesday folders need to be completed by noon on Wednesday.
Classroom Parties
These important volunteers help to organize our classroom parties. Responsiblities range from sending in food or materials, to contacting other parents, to coming in to help on the day of the party.
Field Trip Chaperone
These volunteers come with us on our field trips and help manage kids!
Buddy Readers
Come into the classroom and read with kids! Reading aloud with students helps them build confidence as they develop as readers. This position is sometime within the hours of 8:45-10 am.
Math Tutor
Come into the classroom help students develop thier math skills. Work one on one or in small group helping student practice math. This position sometime from 10:45-11:30 am.
Art Helper
Feeling Artistic? This volunteer comes in during our art time to help students get the most out of this time. This position occurs between 12:30-1:30 on Fridays.
Science Assistant
During our science time we often need an extra set of hands. Come on in and get busy helping out our young scientists.
PTA Room Parent
Represent our classroom at our wonderful parent/ teacher organization.
